The Trumpold collection is a unique collection of Erzgebirge folk art with about 15,000 individual figures. These have been collected with perseverance and a great deal of passion over a lifetime by the married couple Gisela and Karl Trumpold.

You can expect an almost endless variety of turned and carved figures in the most diverse sizes and variations, sorted by themes such as toys, Christmas, mining and carvings. Smoking men, nutcrackers, Christmas cots and pyramids, miners in magnificent habit, mining parades and mining scenes can be marvelled at, but there are also animal figures, miniature vehicles, flower children, music boxes, candlesticks and much more to discover.

The "Krauß Collection" honours the life's work of the carver Gottfried Krauß from Johanngeorgenstadt. His works combine a high level of carving craftsmanship and successful creative implementation of the theme with the necessary knowledge of wood as a natural material.
