Mechanical Landscapes
The "Mechanical Landscapes" are reproductions of typical East German landscapes from the Ore Mountains to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and Spreewald to the Baltic Sea coast in miniature with over 40 movable models.
The model layout was developed and built in 1988 by Peter Uhlig from Chemnitz and has been constantly expanded with much perseverance in painstaking detail work.
